So one day i was cleaning my car when i accidently sprayed some of the upholstery cleaner on the glass that covers my gauges (spedometer, odometer, etc). Now I have some lovely spots on there that i cannot get rid of. Anyone have any suggestions? I’m thinking I may just have to pay to replace it.

The instrument panel clear surface is most likely plastic. And possibly the upholstry cleaner has etched itself into the plastic. Try just a little petroleum based solvent with a soft cloth, on a small area that’s affected.

This is what my daughter would most like for Christmas. She has a child, a man, and 3 pets. Plus, she’s a germophobe, so she doesn’t want a used one. I would like to get her something like a Little Green Machine, easy to use, yet effective. I live in Central Indiana. I already looked on e-bay. Any ideas? Serious answers only, please. Thanks!

Looking for a semi-industrial cleaning machine with an emphasis on upholstery cleaning.
No more than 14" base, large tank, and EXCELLENT upholstery brush.
Would be great heated with a quick-dry feature.
Any ideas?

Powerflite has good models, along with clean freak. Upholstery tools are pretty common and come with all major machines. Plan on spending $650-$1000 new or roughly $300 used.

The only thing I need an upholstery cleaner is a recliner which is "oh so comfy" and in great mechanical condition but needs cleaning. All I need it for is this recliner. Any suggestions?

turtle wax makes an awesome upholstery cleaner, i think its called power out. it comes in a spray can but also has a plastic brush attached to the spray nozzle. I work in a shop and frequently get upholstery dirty or greasy, this stuff takes it out and makes it look like new.

Your local company will have the proper equipment and solution to make your car interior look new and smell great! The majority of the retail products are for little spots…not a thorough cleaning.

ive always just used a rug doctor with the upholstery attachment on it. this controls how much moisture gets into the seat. if the seat gets wet too deep and doesnt dry fast enough it could potentially cause mold. many stores rent rug doctors for a weekend for like $20
